It can be seen how positive adjective but it despises the others in the negative meaning. Also it is possible to be call him an arrogance. The persons have are pride have problems to recognize erros and ussually it serves for create a self-defense because they are frighten the people offense himself.
It also is a adjective for the title of a beautiful film named Pride and Prejudice that represente the pride in the protagonists who fallen in love after pass critical situations and to be hated among them.
