T-REX

I want to explain you something about my other prefer singer apart from Jim Morrison. T-Rex were an English rock band fronted by guitarist, singer and songwriter Marc Bolan. The band were established as a folk rock group in 1960s London. Their name, T-Rex, is for tyranosaurus rex.

The principal member of this band is Marc Bolan. He was borned in England on 30 September 1947, was an English singer. The first name of this singer was Mark Feld but after residing for some months in France with a magician and dressing as model in the London of beginning of decade, Mark adopted Toby Tyler's pen name and later Marc Bowand.


Recording some demos that did not manage to be published in his time, as " The road I'm on " or a version of one of his idols of adolescence, Bob Dylan, the classic one "Blowin ' in the wind".
At the end of the year 1965, Mark Feld would be re-baptized as Marc Bolan, in honoring precisely to BOb dyLAN.

He also was songwriter and guitarist whose hit singles, fashion sensibilities and stage presence with T.Rex in the early 1970s helped cultivate the glam rock era, though he preferred to call his music Cosmic Rock, and made him one of the most recognisable stars in British music of all time.
