Hard week

As all students of second batxillerat and also teachers know, we are in the harder week in all our study in high school. We've had two weeks with exams every day too but this one will be the definitive one and everybody won't leave his work of a lot of years now.

Firstly I want to tell you the perspective of this week. Monday we'll do a Catalan exam, Tuesday a Catalan literature exam, Wednesday a maths exam, Thursday a philosophy exam and finally in Friday the last one, an history of art exam. We've had this calendar very times before this year but these exams are the finals, so we have to study all we've done over the year.

However we couldn't make ourselves nervous persons and we've to go on the right way sleeping necessary hours of sleeping (sometimes it can't be possible) and eating some energy food and a lot of fruit and vitamin C, like orange juice for example.

Nevertheless, if we have could arrive where we are is for a reason, constancy in our study and work. So we haven't to have many problems to pass these days knowing that when they finished we'll have a little "kit-kat" to relax! Go and enjoy this last week guys!

University Pompeu Fabra

We are in the final of our knowledge in high school and there is more near the time to go to the university to specialize ourselves and create our future studying a career or a profession. In my chase I want to study in Barcelona, particularly in the Pompeu Fabra University with my friend Guillem.

If we can, we'll live in a residence very near of the university but it depends on the note and if one of ourselves doesn't got it, we'll consider the flat option with another guys that will live in Barcelona too. It has been the major decision ever in our life because we'll spend in there minimum four years if all go in the good way.

Pompeu Fabra's University has valuation for three terms and at the beginning of someone of them there are new subjects so, we can study more things and learn more at the same time. Another powerful point of this university are the specialization of the career you choose and the new masters existing and other possibilities very useful, like Erasmus or Seneca travels. Definitive, a good university to develop our way in life.

The butterfly circus

There is a video uploaded in youtube that explains a strange and incredible story of a man, who was born without arms, legs and any extremities. At the first time we can consider it like a science - fiction film, but there are a lot of videos of the same person, but the real ones which this video has been based, speaking in conferences and explaining his natural disease with a smile.

The man we are talking about is Nick Vujicic, a real man who make conferences explaining his personal experience without any extremity in body. A man who has win all adversities he could has with happiness and apparently normal between laughs explaining some anecdotes of his disease with people.

The butterfly circus is a video based in this real case where a man with the characteristics of Nick. This person is in a strange circus where the artists are people with diseases or rares. But one day, in a show, Mr. Mèndez appears and said to him: "You are the most beautiful person existing in the world". From this moment, the life of this man change and scape to form part of the circus which Mèndez is the director, the butterfly circus, creating a family, creating a happiness, creating a new life where smiles reach the most dark moments.

God Messi

The last Saturday F.C. Barcelona has won Sevilla in one of the final matches which will decide the football league in some weeks. Madrid is behind him, but with this victory he has a half of the title won thinking that league will finish next week.

All Barça fans gives thanks to the best player of the team, Lionel Messi who last year was considered the best player in the world winning the FIFA World Player award between others.

In my opinion of F.C. Barcelona fan, I don't consider Messi like the only reason because Barça is to one step of win the league. Lionel Messi, like other stars, have leave because of his popularity to a band his companions. However Messi's humility is enviable.

Nevertheless, this Barça will win the league with the help of young players that have ever lived with his team written in their heart and life like Bojan or Pedro. For this reason and because of the play has imposed Guardiola, the coach, Barça have won all in his pass and next years will be a team to remember like on of the best football teams ever.

Barraques '10

Everybody have to relax themselves another time while they are working hard. In our case, high school students have barraques time to do a time out between hard weeks of study. This year hasn't been different and we've gone to Figueres the two weekends hearing different concerts.

All people of batxillerat have gone once minimum to this kind of party which help us to relax in hard moments like now, the final week, ¡of all our high school! So we have to try to do our best this week to don't leave fall a work of all years of student. Because we've worked to be where we are, to one step of university.

Returning to the barraques topic, I've to say all class has passed a grateful moments together. Particularly I've gone with my boy friends (don't mean boyfriends!) to the most important concerts there were like Strombers, Conchita or Los Delinquentes.

This entrance is too a way to give thanks to those persons who have created unforgettable moments like every year. Sadly we will separate ourselves in many cases and we won't see us usually like these days but, I suppose and wish, that every moment we can to spend together, we'll spend it with the laughs and friendship we have had in this barraques 2010.

Women get help for sex addiction

It's very unusual to hear a woman getting help for her addiction, a strange addiction. Some men will think that this pacient is a paridisiac girl with who they dream, but it isn’t an erotic dream. A girl gets help for a sex addiction and it’s not a joke.

Rob Weis is a sex addiction specialist, he says that a 20% of sex addictions are womans. He works in New Mexico and the treatment he uses at a price around £20,000 for a month.

The victims of this addiction can do a group therapy too living in bungalows with other victims and doctors who tract their.

We can concentrate in a case, Kally's case. "Kandis is a 20-year-old sex addict. She was a prostitute for two years." A specialist has said in the topic, "Her motivation was her pimp." In my opinion the case of these women can be solved by doctors because we can consider it a disease. Some people will laugh to hear this news but it is a real problem we usually don't think about because of the topic.

I'm sure a lot of people have this problem and themselves are used like prostitutes by evil persons who know their problem. In our world exist this kind of people, for our misfortune. So I'm completely in agreement with people recognize his problem going to doctors to solve it. It's an enormous demonstration of their value.

Basketball has always been my passion, so I take my ball as soon as I finish my homework or study, it's a kind of way I always use to relax myself throwing one and another time to the basket. People who don't like this sport is in the habit of thinking that the basketball is based only in putting the ball into a simple basket, but it isn't.

Everybody know that's the objective to win a match, but this sport, like others, go more there. There are five positions in basketball. I want to explain more about, and describe, my favorite one, point guard position. Other positions existing are shooting guard, small forward, power forward and finally, center.

In sport always have to be one person who directs to others. In all sports this person is the coach, but in basketball we could say there are twice, in different places. Particularly in this sport, there are a person who controls every movement of his team, this person is the point guard. He usually is the fastest player on the team and is who directs the offense of his team controlling the ball and making sure that it gets to the right player at the right time. This player has to have a very good domain of the ball with a great speed of his hands and movements to make sure he won't miss the ball stole by one adversary using driblings or crossovers.

Definitely is the person who have to control the match and impose the kind of rhythm he want to the play of his team. So this player is the best passing the ball between the players and he has to be a well long distance shouter. History of basketball had had a great players in this position, but the most important in my opinion because of his talent are: Walt Frazier, Bob Cousy, Steve Nash, Jason Kidd, Sarunas Jasikevicius, Dejan Bodiroga, Theodoros Papauloukas, Mo Williams, Chris Paul, Rajon Rondo, Jerry West, John Stockton, Isiah Thomas, Lenny Wilkins, Gary Payton, Dennis Johnson and the most important and the best between point guards, Earvin "Magic" Johnson, whose play was considered a kind of magic to the people who hadn't seem another player like him, creating his team play: The Showtime. There is also a "play maker" we can to consider but he isn't a point guard, the incredible, Larry Bird.

In January 2009 marked the 20^th century of the birth of Edgar Allan Poe, who is considered by many critics to be the father of modern literature. But he lived in penury and was widely derided and misunderstood by his contemporaneous.

Edgar Allan Poe was a natural creator of literature, enigmatic stories and poetry were their prefer subjects to work on. In his life we can see how a poet life can be misunderstood by people.

So there are a lot of poetry creators who didn't triumph after his death. It is not till then, when the people of his around thinks about the person that they have left to lose. Poe was one of many cases in poetry history, because the more important artists had been ever in the world, have lived in penury.

Personally I think poets had been misunderstood because of his time advancement, like painters. The case of Poe was very clear. With his work we've could see is one of the greatest writers ever in the history of universal literature, being, like has been by many critics, the father of modern literature. We can think more about this case, and all similar. We have to see with another eyes poets actually?
